Description: Offered for sale is a beautiful early Sterling Silver pen and inkstand. It measures 12 inches by 7 inches deep and 2 1/2 inches high. It weighs 417 grams without the ink bottle. It has an engraved design on the flat deck. I don't know if the ink bottle is original with the stand or not since it is smaller than the large square on the deck to hold a bottle. The lid on the inkwell needs to be cemented on with Plaster of Paris. There are two curly cues to hold an ink pen. On the bottom of the deck it is hallmarked with the Sterling hallmark. Please see the pictures for more detail. A very wonderful piece of history. Shipping and insurance if breakable (which is only our costs) is included in the shipping price within the continental US. I try to ship the same or next day after payment is received except for Saturday payments. Once the Post Office has it, I have no control over their quickness of delivery.
