Description: Besutiful Antique Grain Bag - Unusual Art Deco Design - Complete! 23 1/2" x 31 1/2". A wonderful deep colored bag with an all-over kind-of Z pattern that changes slightly in each little rectangular space. Beautiful drawing, weaving and design. Overall bag is in decent shape, the back kelim is unevenly faded. There are a few frayed threads at the selvages and there is 1 knothead in the field. But this is an excellent piece with a well executed and unusual design. The colors are deeper and darker than shown in the photos. Look to the darkest colors in the photos for a better idea. The colors just wouldn't photograph for me. It's a beautiful bag and has been in my collection for probably 30 years. It can display well especially if it is filled as a pillow. Or displayed on a wall. I don't think it lies flat enough to be used on the floor. If you have questions, please ask them. If you'd like additional photos, let me know - I'll try to do better!
