Description: Offering an antique, turn of the last century, Chinese export market cloisonne covered box - container. This beautiful cloisonne piece is based on a blue that is close to Lapis Lazuli in depth and intensity. The flower work is in oranges, reds, greens and yellows. Interior is fully enameled. The copper base is enameled and stamped in red paint with the word CHINA. The cloisonne is pitted and shows age appropriate wear. Two bits of enamel are missing: a tiny one on the cover knob and a small spot on a lower part of the box. I have shown those in close up photos. There is also a small spot of corrosion on the interior. Random white marks are just camera flash. No dents or unsteadiness of structure. FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING!
