No embossing.........Hand blown in 2 pc mold....smooth base...6 sided.....hand tooled wide mouth square ring collar....ground inside neck.....Stopper/lid is not original since it is not ground, but is matching amethyst color and looks great on display.....beautiful amethyst purple........9 1/4"tall (10 3/4"with stopper)........Jar & glass stopper are both in excellent shiny nice condition with only a tiny shallow nick on top surface of rim; a small shallow chip on the bottom inside edge of stopper. A nice clean jar with only a faint ring of inside content haze. This was a utility jar that could have been used as an apothecary jar in a drug store or candy jar or storage jar in pantry. ..
