Monster Scooter Parts gives you the option of purchasing the box without batteries, or with one of two pre-installed battery options. This listing includes a set of 22 AH batteries pre-installed and pre-charged. Unlike many of our competitors, our battery boxes do not sit on the shelf for months with stale, cheap batteries. As part of our shipping process, we assemble our battery boxes with fresh new high-quality Universal Power Group (UPG) batteries. We are rightfully proud of our battery boxes and battery packs, and you will not find better mobility batteries at any price. Note: Prior to 2015 the Golden LiteRider PTC (GP160) used a standard capacity of 12 Ah or 15 Ah battery pack which required a different battery box and harness. The older standard capacity battery boxes have been discontinued and are no longer available. If you need a battery box for a LiteRider PCT made prior to 2015 you will need to retrofit this current model box complete with 18 Ah or 22 Ah batteries. Because of differing harness and connectors, the batteries are NOT INTERCHANGEABLE between box types.
