Description: Beautiful pair of Bates Gilda & Walker Oriental Theme polychrome dinner plates c1885, one of the plates are slightly smaller then the other ~ one is 10 3/8” the other is 10 1/4”. One of the plates has a very small pit on the front other than that no chips cracks or damage. They both have slight yellowing and faded blue glazing imperfections. The front of the plates barely show signs of use there are a few very light utensil marks, the polychrome finish is just about perfect with only minor wear around the rims and a few small spots on the front.
