Description: Basman B-46 bicycle for sale. As seen on many of the custom bicycle groups of Facebook, “Rootbeer Floater” is for sale. I bought the raw frame in August of 2019 (# AC1903027) and finally built it July 4th 2021. Powder coating is Prismatic Illusion Rootbeer and is a 2 step coating. It looks amazing in person. The rear hub is a Shimano Nexus 3 speed with coaster brake utilizing the classic Basman stick shift. The front hub is a Sturmey Archer 90mm drum brake operated by Amal style brake lever. Old school one piece crank. Motorcycle headlight is non-functioning as I have not added a power source or switch. The rims are 26X80mm and the tires are Ruff Cycles 26X3”. The seat and bars are both from Ruff Cycles. Brown coke bottle grips complete the old school look of this bike. Truly a head turner of a bike with a very comfortable ride as the pedals are foreward of the seat for a relaxed posture. Garage kept. I have several different handlebars to choose from.
