Description: Barrie ltd. Booters Wooden Shoe Trees/Forms. Very good preowned condition. There is no size printed anywhere on either of them. The measures approximately 12 inches long. Very nice quality wood. Both have a metal makers mark screwed into the back end. Barrie ltd Booters is written in blue. The brass that joins the back and front has surface rust. Very interesting company. Started in 1934 by Harry B. Isaacs in New Haven Ct for the Yale community. Mostly men’s clothes and shoes. Closed almost 70 years later in 2003. They had two other locations but closed them during WW2 . Again a locally storied company with an Interesting story. A very cool piece of Yale and American retail history that’s hard to come by.
