Description: My Barrett’s Thoroughbred Sales jacket that I purchased at the Pomona 2 year olds in training sale for $100. With Barrett’s Equine Limited no longer conducting thoroughbred sales it’s somewhat a collectors item and the same colors as my racing silks so I had to have it. I’m a 5’4” female and the small fit so I’m assuming it is a men’s small as I normally wear a women’s medium. I’ve taken all the measurements for you. It’s a dark Hunter green waist length 2 layer jacket, it has an inner poly and flannel lining with a separate outer shell. There are 5 pockets, 1 inside and 4 very secure deep outer pockets. The zipper and snaps are brass made by Dulon, the jacket is made by Cheyenne River and it zips all the way up to extend the collar and has 4 brass outer snaps keeping the zipper flap closed at the neck and waist. There are 2 cuff adjustments, 3 1/2” to 4”. The shoulder to the bottom of the cuff is 24 1/2”, it is 21” across from shoulder to shoulder and 23” across from arm pit to arm pit. The bottom waistband is 34” and the elastic is in perfect tight condition. I did find a very small 1/8” tear inside the back flap and I’ve blown up a photo of it. The sleeves were a little long for me and it’s a very warm jacket, a little too warm for California so I only wore it twice a year when I attended the spring and fall sale for 5 years before I retired and moved out of state.
