We have also kiln dried the wood to make it stable and ready to use and is insect free. All planks are 3 in. W and most boards are up to 48 in. L and each box contains a minimum of 10 sq. ft. The uniformity of width reduces waste while cutting for your project. Some uses include wall covering, furniture, sliding barn doors, headboards, ceiling cladding, serving trays, toy boxes and so much more. Wormy Chestnut can be sealed with a water-based sealant to bring out the rich color of the wood grain.
