G+-VG, clean copy of an original pressing of the soundtrack to the 1976 musical film of the same name, performed by its stars Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. This album was very successful, holding the #1 spot on the US Billboard 200 chart for six weeks. Certified 4× Platinum in the US and has sold a total of eight million copies worldwide. Also received a record certification in New Zealand, Brazil, the Netherlands, Italy and Mexico. "Evergreen (Love Theme from A Star Is Born)" was released as the album's lead single and became Streisand's second US #1 single, spending three weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and six weeks atop the Easy Listening chart. Original Pitman pressing of some sort? Could it be a Promo/Demo release? Not embossed with Gold Stamp on back: "Demonstration Not For Sale", nor does it have a 'Promo' label on cover. In original gatefold jacket and original printed inner sleeve with lyrics and credits. Couple of repairable, shallow needle scratches on Side 1; otherwise, in VG-VG+ condition. I priced it as 'Good', even though the runouts are undocumented variations for a standard release, perhaps making this particular disc collectible (see below).
