Description: Barbara Cook SingsTown HallInterludes Vintage Promotional Herald / Flyer Up for auction is a vintage souvenir promotional advertising herald or flyer, measuring approximately 8.5 by 11 inches in size. Heralds are advertising flyers that are typically placed at theaters, and sometimes included in Playbills and Programs. This single sheet herald is for "Barbara Cook Sings", featuring Barbara Cook, and playing as part of the Town Hall Interludes Series, in New York City, in the mid to late 1970's. The "Wednesday 5:45 Interludes" was a weekly series of one-hour programs featuring jazz, classical music, dance and choral groups and performers, playing at The Town Hall, a performance space located at 123 West 43rd Street, near Times Square. The souvenir herald is in great, vintage condition, with no rips, tears, writing or damage, and minimal soiling and wear. However, there is some slight creasing at the upper right corner, a vertical crease at the center of the herald where it had once been folded in half, and a black line along the right edge that was created during the production of the piece.
