We are fervent bandana fans in the GenQ family, and , when you give us a book that has bandanas and a photo of a cat on the dedication page, we're pretty sure we've found our tribe. Judith shares how-tos for accessories such as belts and headbands, but we got a little more jazzed when we came across a bandana lining for the hood of a hoodie, bandana-trimmed shorts, a drawstring top, a bandana skirt! Its' a bandana extravaganza - 21 projects of varying difficulty. The book is geared for age 8 and up, with basic sewing instructions, but we'll be wrestling the book out of the little sewists' hands to whip up projects of our own.This is a great book and would be lots of fun for a pre-teen party. Bandanas can be bought from a wholesaler (source listed in the book) for less than $1 per bandana and can easily be transformed into accessories and decorations.
