Produced by the Japanese Animation Studios J.C.Staff (株式会社ジェー・シー・スタッフ, Hepburn: Kabushiki-gaisha Jē Shī Sutaffu, J and C stand for "Japan Creative"), directed by Hiroshi Nishikiori and written by Ichirō Ōkouchi. Adapted from the Azumanga Daioh manga written by Kiyohiko Azuma. From Episode 17: Osaka's Scary Story/Feeling Different/December/Incredible Santa/Christmas Meeting (「大阪の怪談」 「気分転換」 「師走」 「すごいサンタ」 「クリスマス会」Ōsaka no Kaidan/Kibun Tenkan/Shiwasu/Sugoi Santa/Kurisumasu Kai).
