It's a gaming laptop squished down into a handheld form factor, similar in concept to a Steam Deck. It is more powerful than the Steam Deck in terms of processor and graphics. Unlike the Steam Deck, it's meant to run Windows. WHAT CAN I PLAY ON IT? I tested it with some Helldivers 2 and got about 20FPS on the Steam Deck graphics setting in that game. It tends to average about 40FPS on most games made in the last five years, but it just barely handles those higher end titles. It's best suited for AAA titles from 2020 or earlier, or for console emulation on Windows. IS IT BETTER THAN A STEAM DECK? Game compatibility is better on the Aya Neo than on the Steam Deck since it's running native Windows and not a Linux layer. The screen is considered better than the original Steam Deck. Ergonomically I think the Steam Deck feels better, and both perform roughly the same.
