I played SL series back when it came out, then forgot about it for a few decades and just got back into gaming in the last couple of years. In the process of building my collection, I ended up with a few extra games and opted to sell them on eBay. I discovered a lot of people were selling SL games, but most didn't seem to be gamers - just people selling things they found. As a gamer, I go through each game and fully inventory the counters -even CoD and GI where each counter has an ID. I work to ensure the game is ready to play - it may be worn, but it is playable. I only really buy and sell the original SL series, though I did dabble with ASL a bit. It has been interesting, but hardly a huge profit generator - it takes a long time to inventory counters (CoD Brit armor is my least favorite...). Though once in a while you buy a collection that is profitable, often it is stuff that is more work than it is worth. If you purchase this game, I hope you enjoy it - and if like me, you remember opening the original back in the 1980s and get that nostalgic feeling as you open the box.
