Instructions to get started:- Remove the unit from the packaging.- Place the unit on a flat sturdy surface near an outlet, safe from pets and small children (I recommend placing it on a plate or tray if the surface has a tablecloth in case the motor gets hot).- Pour roughly 2 tablespoons of sand onto the top surface and use a fork to spread evenly (it should be a thin layer covering the entire surface. Use a combination of scraping with the fork and tapping the side of the bowl until smooth.- Place a metal ball in the center of the sand- Plug the power cable into an outlet and turn on the switch, ensuring the cable is out of the way and not a tripping hazard.- The ball should attach to the magnet underneath the cover and begin creating a design.- Now, sit back and enjoy. Tips for changing the designs:- Remove the metal ball from the sand then remove the cover by lifting it from the base. The cover is attached to the base with magnets. - Remove the magnet and place it in a new slot for a different design. - For more designs, place the second magnet into a different slot for multiple designs at once (use a corresponding ball for each magnet)- Once you have made the switch, simply place the cover back on and place your metal ball or balls in the sand. Safety: The bowl is not meant to run 24/7. Do not leave the device on while unattended and make sure you shut it off if you’re going to be away for an extended period of time.
