Mary Pratt was a 21 game winning underhand Southpaw Ace w hi o posted a no-hitter for the Kenosha Comets in 1944 on their way to their first half League Championship. Mary Pratt played from 1943-1947. The (AAGPBL) All-American Girls Professional Baseball League,played from 1943 to 1954. This Vintage 1st generation limited edition pic was made in 1996 directly from Mary's Scrapbook and is from the seller's personal Autographed Collection. The "V" formation was a Tribute to Honorthe Soldiers at War during WW2 and was in continued use before games until the end of the War. Before games, players stood in the "V" formation widening out from home plate down the first and third base lines. On cue the players would continue to run down the lines alternatively crossing over second base and then to the dugout.
