Description: This is an authentic vintage LOUIS VUITTON Monogram Pochette circa 2002. This pouch is well worn. I purchased it in Seattle, WA in 2002. It is crafted of signature Louis Vuitton monogram-coated canvas. The brass top zipper opens to a brown fabric interior. This is how to read a Louis Vuitton authentication tag: The first two letters represent the factory location. The first and third numbers represent the week of the year, and the second and forth numbers represent the year. For example this date code is SD1012 indicating that the bag was made in France or the US in the 11th week of the year in 2002. The purse has been used for over 20 years and shows its wear. The canvas is cracking around the zipper ends on the exterior (shown in pics) other than that the purse has normal wear and tare and has held up like we expect a Louis Vuitton should. The cross body strap is new.
