It has a cast iron base and the boom part is chrome.. the height is adjustable, it comes with the microphone mount as well. Very nice vintage tabletop microphone stand. I would guess this to be from the 1960s. They don't make this type of quality anymore, so if you need one of these here's your chance. These are getting hard to find!
