Gear is printed with dense infill for highest strength. Nylon holds up really well on these lathes. Tooth profile is an optimized involute profile to match with original gears. Nylon is a very good gear material that holds up very well in these lathes. Gear may work in other lathes with similar features. Nylon may be white or black in color.
