This premium ready-to-run discontinued model was purchased new and set aside. It is a Factory-NEW Mint model. All original packaging and documentation are provided. There are no indications of any previous use. The prototype was one of 75 EMD SD60M locos built for Conrail in 1993. By the end of the decade, Conrail was out of business and the fleet of SD60M’s was split between Norfolk Southern and CSX. The ‘M’ designation indicated the loco was equipped with the ‘North American Safety Cab’. These superior models include directional LED lighting, scale-size front and rear ditch lights and lighted number boards.
