Description: This is a signed photograph of the Americanastronaut John Howard Casper (born 1943). Casper served in the United States Air Force, from which he retired with the rank of Colonel.He flew 229 combat missions with the 35th Tactical Fighter Wing in the Vietnam War. Casper spent more than 800 hours in outer space while serving on four different missions. He flewinto space on board three different space shuttles; the Space Shuttle Atlantis, Space Shuttle Endeavour, and the ill-fated Space Shuttle Columbia. His three missions occurred from 1990 through 1996.Casper was the pilot on the first of those missions,and was the mission commander on the following three.
