Description: NOS (new condition) vintage reproduction of the 1930's thru 1950's art deco style door push bar as seen at many a convenience store and gas station. This started out as part of a limited edition of only 1000 units produced under official license back in 1998 for Dr. Pepper. This one offered here is currently a one-off modified version that I have professionally stripped the original logos from because I'd had inquiries from those who wish to replicate the original Coca-Cola artwork designs that typically sell in the $500-800 range (*Vintage examples seen in the last photo for reference only). They were concerned as to how to properly and cleanly remove the existing logo, so I went ahead and did a couple for them. A slight 'ghost' image of the previous logo is barely perceptible, but will not affect your choice of paint or powdercoat when starting your reproduction project. Very sturdy aluminum construction and very well done -- none of that cheap flimsy tin crap from China that you find in Hobby Lobby. Measures 29.875" long from edge to edge and 28.8125" between the centerline of the mounting holes. Approximately 4.375" tall at the center section. Please view all photos of my display item -- yours will come basically brand new (sans the intentionally removed logo) in the original 1998 shipping box.
