Description: We have received a lot of positive feedback on our second generation non-spring clutch system since it was released in 2012, but we are always looking for further improvement in all our products. So we are now proud to introduce our third generation non-spring clutch system for all our customers around the world.We have re-designed just about everything in our V3 clutch system to significantly improve its performance! Firstly, the V3 clutch shoe has been totally re-designed from two points of engagement to three which minimizes even more than before any minor slippage. As well the clutch shoe has been lightened by about 60 grams and the space between the clutch shoe and the clutch bell has been reduced from 0.5mm to a bare 0.3mm. This V3 clutch now engages perfectly between about 3,000 rpm - 3,500 rpm without failure.An added benefit of this new innovative design of clutch shoe is that you can use the V3 clutch system on a counter-rotation engine by simply reversing the clutch shoe!A heavy duty bearing is installed in the center of the V3 clutch front plate, and a total of three bearings center the whole kit; two smaller bearings are inside the clutch bell to center the clutch shoe into the clutch bell, and one large bearing is inside the front CNC plate to center the whole kit perfectly without any adjustment required. The new design of clutch bell is not only more efficient, it has improved appearance and has been designed for easy installation. With only three simple steps you will be able to install this V3 clutch on virtually any gas marine engine available in the market, such as Arrow Shark, Zenoah, RCMK, QD, CY or clone engines in either stock or modified versions. And it can be installed with or without an engine mount. An integrated shaft collet shortens the overall length of the clutch system and allows the unit to be installed in smaller hulls where other brand clutch systems would be too long to fit. We offer three popular colors for the V3 clutch - red, black, and silver - so you can choose the color that best suits your project.
