The hooks work well with almost any of the cords folks use, from our 2mm Kevlar and Sterling Ropes accessory cord, straight through 275, 325, 425, and all but the thickest 550s. NOTE: If you're using a flat melt instead of a knot on your cord, these may not work, and if you go for the stiffer multi-coloured diamond 550s, they'll probably be too thick to use with the hook.
