Description: Apple mint herb is a mild, pleasant tea. Often used to help settle an upset stomach and similar in smell and taste to spearmint. The oils in mint plants is very repellent to most insects, so plants in this family can be made into skin salves, lotions, or oils or sprays to repel pests naturally. The tea is nice on its own, over ice or hot, but it can also be added to other teas or beverages. These packages are sold by volume, not by weight. it is most often the volume that you need to know when making many herbal products, but if you are only using this to make tea, this package will make 48 standard cups of tea using1tsp per cup or mug of hot water. The strength of your tea will be determined by steeping time. I prefer my teas on the strong side, and I normally steep most teas upwards of 20 minutes, but this one is very potent so I only steep it in just boiled water for 10 minutes or less.
