Description: Apple Demo Days Support CD - March 1998 Promotional and product resource information distributed by Apple to it's workers during Apple Demo Day events. Distributed by Apple Channel & Sales Training. Lots of Good Stuff Vintage to that Era including Mac OS8, the Think Different Ad and the Apple internal Apple Masters document! Attached are some screenshots with a portion of disk contents. The information contained in these CD’s represent the beginning of the Resurgent Era for Apple with Steve Jobs’ recent return to Apple. The popular narrative of Steve Jobs’ return to Apple is simple: Jobs came back and saved everything. Which, yes, that did end up happening, but it gives short shrift to this very interesting period at Apple, where Jobs was back and putting his plans in motion. Apple was also hungry and eager to try anything to get back in the game. It had a very wide and diverse product line and was losing market as well as having some severe cash flow problems. Yes, there was magic in the early era of Jobs’s return, but it was hardly an effortless performance. In this era, Apple was sweating—trying hard, and often, to find places where it could push itself forward. We remember the success, but maybe not the sweat. Lots of Good Stuff Vintage from the early Resurgent Era! The CD is in very good condition with very light (if any at all) scratches.
