These amazing speakers are for sale by the original owner in "as good as new" renovated condition. After enjoying them for over 35 years, I decided to have them brought up to state of the art condition. Over time, the foam supports for the ribbons had become somewhat brittle. When I heard that superior materials were now available from Apogee, I decided to have them completely brought up to 2024 standards along with new ribbons and fabric. They are still in the custom built crates as they came in from the factory authorized service company and ready to ship or be picked up. Complete renovation by factory authorized facility was completed in May 2024, including all six new ribbons and latest long life foam as well as new fabric. These are fully tested and ready to ship in custom built crates per factory design. Also included are the two crossover networks and floor standing brackets. The original user manual and brochures along with technical articles of that time period are included. The sound is absolutely spectacular. The Diva was Apogee's most expensive ribbon speaker when it was released in 1988. It is a 3-way system, slightly over 6 feet tall with a very large trapezoidal bass panel, a 3 element aluminium midrange ribbon and a tweeter made from a single strip of aluminium foil.
