Description: ANZA GENUINE PANCAKE SHEATHS, (#1) WHAT NEEDS TO BE SAID MANY OF YOU HAVE ASKED US TO BRING IN PANCAKE SHEATHS. These sheaths are made for Medium size knives 9" would be about the largest you can carry in this sheath. 7" to 8 1/2" are perfect but you will still have a hard time getting them in one. We have watched many people just try to put a knife in one of these pancake sheaths and couldn't, here's the thing 1st these are brand new never had a knife in them so it will be hard to any knife in one at first. You need to break these in I have had a hard time getting a 7 1/2" knife in one but once I did it wasn't going any where, you need patients. THIS PRICE IS PER SHEATH NO YOU WILL NOT GET THE 6 YOU SEE. We just brought into our inventory another Pan-Cake sheath for larger knives Model # 12F, we are listing them separately. WOULD RATHER HAVE ONE OF THESE OVER A VERTICAL SHEATH SO HERE THEY ARE. THESE WILL FIT ANY SMALL TO MEDIUM KNIFE UP TO 8 1/2" ABOVE THAT GO TO A 12F,. I PUT A 6 1/2" BLUE AND BLACK IN ONE AND A 7 3/4" IN ANOTHER SHEATH. AT FIRST IT IS NOT EASY TO GET THE HANDLE STARTED THE ONE THING I NEED TO STRESS IS SAFETY. IN MY 43 YEARS OF SELLING KNIVES, I HAVE HAD TO MANY PEOPLE CONTACT ME THAT CUT A FINGER OFF-REALLY, THEY EITHER DIDN'T READ HOW TO USE CERTAIN KNIVES WITH SHEATHS OR TRIED PUTTING A 12" KNIFE IN A 8" SHEATH ANY GOOD BLADE WILL SLICE RIGHT THROUGH THIS OR ANY LEATHER SHEATH. AGAIN 8" to 8 3/4" IS FINE ABOVE THAT IS ON YOU, and smaller knives no problem. AND PLEASE KEEP YOUR HANDS AND FINGERS AWAY FROM THE BLADE END OF THE SHEATH PLEASE. THESE PANCAKE LEATHER SHEATHS ARE VERY TIGHT BRAND NEW AND ALL OF THESE ARE BRAND NEW NEVER USED SO IT WILL NOT BE EASY TO GET YOUR KNIFE IN THIS SHEATH JUST TAKE YOUR TIME AND ABOVE ALL BECAREFUL ENJOY YOUR NEW SHEATH. YOU SHOULD NOT KEEP YOUR KNIFE IN A SHEATH, only when you are carrying your knife is it to be in the sheath. I'm not talking about Pan-Cake sheaths all sheaths never leave a knife in a leather sheath. When your day is over wipe down your knife with a light coating of oil and put it in a display case or dry cloth. AND YOU CAN SEE WHAT YOU ARE BUYING WE ASK YOU TO HOLD ON RETURNS, WE HAVE CHECKED EVERY SHEATH at least twice, no sheath leaves here with any issue. UPDATE; We have 1 of these that had new knives in them, the buyers wanted a different type of sheath. This 1 is new but not tight they had a knife in them.
