Maryland to be exact. I purchased it from a gal who said that her grandfather used it for years! It is a type of advertising sign/sample used in door to door sales. It remains a great example of the way they used to advertise prior to the basic TV commercials of today. This piece measures 16.50" tall x 9.50” wide, and it is 5 1/4” thick. It weighs a little over 7lbs. This display shows the many years of advertising, but you can still see the quality of the craftsmanship.
