Description: Estate fresh antique wooden trinket or jewelry box, fox with leg in trap, possibly Black Forest. Late 19th to early 20th. Piece has a piece of tree trunk in rear that has been repaired, a piece of trunk that has been broken off, piece of wood missing above leg on bottom, nothing is loose. I cannot tell if rear fox ear has been chipped off, can tell you it is smooth as glass, one drawer is missing a button to open. Piece in reasonably good condition for age and having been used. It was very dusty so I wiped off with beeswax. Do not have key. Certainly not new so please take advantage of zoom or enlarge feature and study all photos thoroughly. Approx 6 3/4" wide X 4 1/2" deep X 10" tall. Beautiful old box. If shipping costs are under my quote buyer is always refunded. If more it's on me.
