Description: This chair would be a beautiful addition as a side chair in a dining or kitchen area. It is sturdy enough to sit in, but due to age, it should probably be handled with care. The design and look appears to indicate it was built many years ago. A couple of rungs were missing, but replacements have been made and added. Part of the seat was broken off, but it has been cleaned up and glued back into place. (see photos). It isn't an exact match...but has a very similar look to an Ethan Allen Hitchcock chair we've observed.Questions are welcomed, however; information is limited. It was in a storage unit of an elderly man we knew; who's children offered the contents to us when he passed away. The unit had been storing his collections since at least 1985 and he was said to have been collecting items for years before that. Local pick up only
