Description: This charming old travel trunk was made by M.M. Secor Trunk Co. of Racine, Wisconsin. There is label on the inside of the lid. I would think it is probably from the late 1800's. It is 19 inches wide, 12 1/2 inches deep and about 7 1/2 inches tall. the wood is trimmed in metal and it has a leather strap handle. It is in very good condition and the wood has a wonderful old patina to it. The lock does not work as far as I know, but because there is no key I didn't want to lock it. It is possible to find a key for this style of lock. It would look wonderful on top of another trunk or a stack of trunks. this is a piece I had to talk myself out of keeping. I have never seen another quite like it.
