Description: Stunning hand carved WM L Gilbert Clock Co. Winsted Conn. model "Bass". Elaborate mantel pendulum clock with key (key is stamped Antonia clock co.). I am not a clock expert but it winds freely as it should and does strike the chime (see video). The hands don't move on their own despite winding that I can tell.
