Description: Weller Pottery jardiniere features elephant ear leaves. Glaze is a deep, saturated lavender. Leaves are turquoise with a touch of green. Similar to their Lavonia line, but with richer colors. Possibly from their Matt line (Fru Russet). This mold was also used in their Bedford matt, majolica and Orris. Measures 10-3/4 inches high and 13 inches wide. Opening diameter is 10-1/4 inches.Dates to the 1920s. Weighs a little over 10 pounds before being packaged. CONDITION: As Found, used condition.No cracks nor hairlines. There is crazing. Glaze drips and/or kiln condensation drips from firing. Loss to glaze on inner rim. Chip to center of interior as highlighted with blue circle. Touch up on rim with maroon glaze which may or may not be factory. Chips or mold flaws to unglazed bottom, above Weller mark.
