Description: AS FOUND at an estate sale. These were found with a number of other lady’s vanity items. I think they are early thumb tacks? ***OK after taking photos of these & really looking I believe they may be early upholstery tacks. What do you think? The packaging, to me, appears as if these could be older than other 1930’s era items with which they were found. But! I could definitely be wrong. Could not find a similar item in the internet. The items are extremely sharp. The “barrels” of the pins are square. The heads & barrels are all metal & all solid black. The cardboard packaging is very sturdy but definitely shows age & wear.
