Antique Vintage Orchid Floral Satin Interiors Fabric ~ Eggplant Purple Mauve

Description: A most beautiful circa 1940's satin in a gorgeous orchid floral design. Luminous satin in a very dark eggplant and mauve/rose tone. The hues are ever so slightly different on a few of the panels I'm offering (possibly a slightly different dye lot) so range from a mauve to a slightly more lavender/mauve. The hues are very hard to capture as satins tend to reflect light and it is very overcast today but the "mauve" to "mauve lavender" range is a good representation.Most likely curtains in the past which I am offering as fabric for repurposing as it is absolutely stunning in pillow making projects, small decorative upholstery, crazy quilt type patchwork, bag making etc...A lovely example of satins from the 1940's "glam" period designs. **Measures~ 22" wide by aprox 72" long (please note~ a few I acquired are a bit longer, closer to aprox 77" so length ranges on some of these but is at least 72" long)I have 11 individual panels in this size. Again, colors are close/consistent and in the same general family but have a slight hue variance on some of these panels~ If purchasing more than 1 panel, I will try to match them closely if possible (obviously may not be able to do that if there are only a few panels left, I have 11 at the time of this listing).Condition is otherwise good/clean for their age and former light use in the past.
