Description: Antique Vintage Dutch Hand Laced Hat with "Kissers" Bright White, Dutch Costume Nice vintage condition. Bright white (even though pictures make it look blueish). Two small stains that I noticed and shown in pictures. Metal kissers are good and bend easily. It will be packed in an oversized box so that the kissers don't get damaged. Living in a Dutch community here in the States, I was always told that the "kissers" were worn by the young ladies to prevent the young lads from going in and stealing a kiss! Not sure if it's true, or if it worked, but it's a good story! Not sure what Provence in the Netherlands / Holland that these came from. ***Styrofoam head NOT INCLUDED***
