Description: Antique Effanbee F & B Mary Jane Composite Doll with Hand Painted Eyes and Lips and Fully Ball Jointed Body. She is marked on her neck and it is only partially legible, we see what appears to be "anbee" (see photos). She comes fully dressed in pale blue dress with lace trim, shoes and socks, a cream color slip and lace trimmed bloomers. The shoes definitely appear to be replacements, the other pieces of clothing may or may not be original to this doll. She dates to the 1920's and although most dolls in this line had sleepy eyes, some were produced with painted eyes as this one has as noted on the doll reference dot com website.
