The most beautiful chain stitch - thin at both ends and wide in the middle. Each link of the chain is hallmarked with a "lion passant" for sterling silver, and in the middle is marked "JS star" for silversmith John Stone. The dog clasp is hallmarked "JS star", "lion passant" for sterling silver, and "t" for 1893. The T bar is hallmarked "A&BRO" for silversmith Adie Brothers Ltd/"SOLID ST SIL" for sterling silver. The fob is a bloodstone wax seal that is not engraved with initials and is hallmarked: "E.W.T.T" for silversmith, "anchor" for Birmingham, "q" for 1898, "lion passant" for sterling silver - a beautiful piece of jewelry.
