Antique Victorian Cut Crystal Glass Double Inkwell 3 Pen Patented 1878 &1880

Description: Terrific Victorian Double Cut Crystal Glass Inkwell with Black Scrollwork HolderPatented 1878 and 1880 it Screams Victorian!!!2 Heavy Cut Glass Wells, 3 Pen HolderApprox: 9" L x 5.75" D, Glass Wells are Approx: 2 7/8" and 3" SquareJust Reduced! This one is really nice as shown in pictures, a perfect compliment to a Victorian era room or antique themed home, B&B or other. Very solid piece with great paint and the scroll work compliments lovely cut glass ink wells. Patent dates are Oct 19, 1880 and Nov 12. 1878. Item has some moderate wear to paint and one of the glass inkwells is just a tad oversized for exact fitting, but only 1/16th of an inch or so (it sits ok in piece, but not perfectly). The glass ink wells have a slightly different tint of glass with the one on right in photos having a hint of yellow or off clear. We think that an the original well to the piece as it fits perfectly in the recessed hold, while the other is just a bit larger as noted. They also have a different pattern embossed on bottom. Not sure if paint is original or not as some of these were painted and others were left in brass tones. In any case, it looks good in black. We have seen similar ones to this identified as Bradley & Hubbard but this is not marked as such. Please Read: We ship with extreme care and all items are fully insured!
