Description: This is a fine Large Coin Silver Ladle by Robert Shepherd from Albany NY. It is 13 7/16" long 3 3/4" wide at the bowl, the bowl ia 1 1/8" deep, the handle is 1 3/16" wide. It weighs 153.9 grams or 4.95 troy oz. Signed R. Shepherd on the back. Condition is overall very good but the bowl has some very small dents, none very deep. It is monogrammed with a flowing MSB on the top of the handle, not too deep, so it could be removed. Shepherd worked in Albany from 1810 to 1830.
