Description: Up for sale is this beautiful antique (19th century) dinner plate by Tonquin from Burgess & Leigh of England. It measures 9 3/4" in diameter and has the rust and cobalt flowers with the flow blue technique. There are eight of these plates available, and each in about the same condition with random wear in places due to age and heavy crazing. Most of the items I offer are bought on the secondary market, and therefore I do not know the history behind them. I strive to purchase and sell only quality items and once they are brought onto my space, they are stored in a smoke free environment. I will do my best to describe each item, along with any major or minor flaws. Sometimes, I will miss something, so please review all the pictures and read the whole listing before bidding.
