Description: A very rare sculptured bust by Eli johnson fecit dated 1876. Unknown male with a monogram of W C or C W to the front. On a lot of research the vast majority of his work is owned by the Northampton Museum. A statue by him of the Queen of Sheeba I found online had sold for around 10000. Other than this I've found it difficult to trace any others that have come up for sale. Information is welcome on the bust. Please study all pictures for size and condition It is heavily damaged around the base area as you can see. I'm more than happy to supply you with more pictures if required and try to answer any questions you may have. I would be particularly interested if anyone knows who the study of the gentleman is.
