Antique Staffordshire Transferware Sugar Bowl with Stag, C 1820

Description: This antique lidded sugar bowl is a charming addition to any collection. It features a lovely blue transferware pattern featuring a stag being chased by a dog with trees in the background. The upper rim is slightly scalloped and shows a coral border. The bowl is a squared oval shape with flared handles on each side. The sugar bowl measures approximately 5.75 inches (to top of finial) by 6.5 inches (from handle to handle), has a 3.5 inch by 2.25 inch opening, and sits on a 3.5 inch by 2.75 inch square foot. Marked “Stone China” on reverse. The item(s) are antique and sold as is/as found. The item(s) may show wear, fading, scratches, repairs, restoration, original imperfections and/or damage from normal use.
