Description: Antique Spirit Measures - Brass 1/2 Gill, Pewter 1/2 Gill & a smaller stamped 20 - The Brass measure has '1/2 GILL' etched on the body and is then stamped on the rim with 'ANSELLS' and the Crown measure stamp. Condition is good - but please check out the pictures. - The Pewter 1/2 Gill has 'HALF GILL' on the body and is then stamped on the rim with a number of marks including the Crown measure stamp. Condition is poor with what looks like a repair to the body and small dents to the rim and base/wear to the finish. - The small Pewter measure has a 20 stamp on the rim and an 'XYH' type of etch to the internal base. Condition is good with wear to the finish. Please contact me with any questions but I am not an expert on these and have tried to give an accurate description.
