Description: This antique doll by Dressel & Koch is a rare find for collectors. It features a beautiful bisque head with painted features and blue paperweight glass eyes. The doll is dressed in a French lace dress with a composition Sonneberg body and straight wrists. It also comes with vintage pantaloons, socks, and shoes, making it a perfect addition to any doll collection. The doll is 16 inches long and has a light complexion. It is an original piece from around 1893-1897 and was made in Koppelsdorf Germany. This antique doll is a must-have for doll enthusiasts and collectors alike. Measurements: 16" Condition: Generally very good, early doll from the Sonneberg area made in the French manner, bulbous paperweight eyes, fixed wrists, beautiful french lace dress and hat, a couple repairs to hat, and antique mohair wig, tiny flaw at tip of nose, wear and crazing to composition body, some chipping on back of torso, repaint and or replacement of lower arms, cording is good.
