Description: An unusual antique soft paste porcelain figural mustard barrel condiment or jam jar with original spoon. Featuring a Pug dog as the lid handle and a young boy in Victorian style clothes trying to peek over the top of the barrel. Still boasts the original spoon! Unmarked but for some numbers hand painted under the base and probably of origin in England. This piece is wonderfully hand decorated and other than some irregularities in the interior surface, is in remarkably fine condition given its age and intended purpose. It is quite the charming and unique addition for the Pug collection. Measures 5" tall by 3" wide. The spoon is 4" long. No chips, cracks, repairs or restorations.
