Description: ANTIQUE SEWING TAPE MEASURE WITH FIGURAL 1 1/4" CAST METAL SEATED DOG Sweet antique tape measure with a dog sitting on top. The bottom of the metal casing that holds the fabric tape measure which is unmarked. This piece dates to the early 1900s. The painted and cast metal dog measures 1 1/4" tall. There is a piece of the dog's hind right leg missing as shown in photo's #2 & #4. The dog has some minor paint flakes but no other cracks or breaks. The base appears to be medal. The fabric tape measure pulls out nicely as manufactured. Overall, in fair condition. VIEW VIDIO!
